Our sports program is built on the principle of positive character building. We balance our program by teaching our student/athletes the fundamentals of the game, coupled with an understanding of vital life skills and the virtues of integrity, perseverance, courage and a commitment to excellence. Our success is not measured in wins/losses, but by ensuring our student/athletes reach their highest potential.
In 2010, Field of Dreams Academy and The Art of Soccer Academy established a strategic partnership with the primary goal of sharing resources to expand academic learning, athletic development and promoting community outreach programs to children ages 5 – 18 year old in metro Atlanta communities.
The Field of Dreams Academy is developing a hockey program focused on teaching the fundamental skills of the game. Our program has several initiatives to engage diverse youth groups who want to learn more and participate in the sport. We want to create a new generation of players and fans for the sport of hockey.
The Ready-Set-Go Achievement Program is our competitive soap box derby team that participate and compete in the Gravity Games, Westside Sports League, and various local derby quailfiers and rally races to qualify for the All American Soap Derby Race.
Lacrosse is a team sport where players try to get a rubber ball into a net or goal. Players use a long stick with a net on the end of it called a lacrosse stick. They can run, carry, catch, shoot, and pass the ball with the net of the stick. The lacrosse team with the most points or goals at the end of the time period wins the game.
The Field of Dreams Academy has developed a strategic relationship with the USA Volleyball Association and the Junior Volleyball Association as part of our mission to increase competitive student athletes’ participation in non-traditional sports.
